Samsung Color Multifunction Laser Printer (CLX-3175FW) Review

I read lots of reviews before buying this printer, and I have to say I've experienced much of the same... I bought it for home business use and it does the job very well.

Cons:

1) Wireless not working, but that was just a bonus anyway and not a big deal; if I can get it to work, great, if not, well never had wireless on any other printer so I can live without it.

2) Had trouble figuring out the little things like pulling out the paper tray and attaching the paper guide to the top (picture wasn't very helpful)...

Pros:

1) Easy to use - turn on, add paper, print

2) No auto-duplexing, but if you print all odd pages, resort them, then put them back in the paper tray and print the even pages and resort again, effectively you have duplex printing:) Not ideal where there are hundreds of pages, but works well for 50 or less...

3) Copied some checks in color (just to see how they would turn out) and the color was nearly perfect! Of course you can see the VOID as expected so you know they are copies, but the point is, the color was great!

4) Printing quality is also very very good - no issues for what I print (including colorful flyers and small print)

5) Looking forward to not having to replace ink cartidges every 2-3 months!

6) Tonor is expensive, but when you compare it to the printing volume difference, it is worth it, and potentially even cheaper than ink.

Overall, great product that I would definitely recommend for personal or small business use.
