I live in an older apartment complex that has only 2 telephone jacks. With this addition I only need one jack now. I love my Panasonic base phone and this one has all of the same fantastic features. What I really like is putting in my own music for the ring tones. I have one song for family and friends, one for business, and a regular ring for incoming unidentified calls. You can also put in pictures for the wallpaper or background from your computer. I have had the base phone (KX-TG5771) for over 2 years with never a problem so I felt very confident ordering this handset. I might add that the communication from "Outlet" was great, the price was excellent, and the shipping was free. Phone came in original box(all extras included), and you can tell its brand new. Took only a few days to receive it, and it was packaged very well. No complaints and I would order again from this merchant in a heartbeat.
