My dad wouldn't hear a shrieking herd of monkeys standing right behind him. He never answered the phone, and if I went to his house to make sure he wasn't dead, the first thing I heard as I turned onto his block was his TV. Now, he answers the phone. Whether because of the louder ringer level or the light, I don't know, but it works. The only way this thing could be better is if it sprayed water every time the phone rang. Still, 5 stars. *****
