This telephone features DECT Technology, which means less interference. The call block feature allows you to block unwanted calls by programming the unwanted number into the call block phone book. Silent mode lets you to choose set hours that a particular handset will ring or not ring based on your settings. The corded base unit works during power outages. The system is expandable up to six cordless handsets, and you have up to 3-way conferencing capability. Choose from a downloaded or selectable ringer to link to your preprogrammed phone book data: the preprogrammed ringer will occur when the corresponding caller ID information is received from an incoming call. Each handset has a built in indicator light to alert you when you are receiving a call or when the battery needs to be recharged, and the keypad is lighted for easier dialing.
